A Symposium Regarding The Intersection of Communications - Technology - Politics

WHY

Technology is rapidly changing the way we conduct our lives, even in politics. This intersection of politics and technology, and how we communicate, will surely be a catalyst for dramatic change across the electoral landscape. Indeed, it already is. We have only begun to comprehend the possibilities for civic engagement, policy transformation, and mass mobilization.

WHAT

The Symposium Regarding the Intersection of Communication, Technology and Politics is a partnership designed to explore and research methods of using technology and communication tools to harness human potential in invigorating the political process.

WHO

The Vasconcellos Project will assemble visionaries in the fields of communications, technology, and politics for a symposium to determine key drivers leading to active civic engagement.

HOW

Through a series of facilitated discussions, demonstrations, and interactive groups, the participants will discover key drivers of meaningful civic engagement.

After examining real world examples where technology and communications have affected political outcomes and/or promoted civic engagement, The Vasconcellos Project with publish the findings.
